The vibrant market town of Towcester is situated within 15 minutes drive of Milton Keynes and Northampton and yet is nestled in the beautiful South Northants countryside.
With easy access to Stoke Bruerne, Stowe House & Gardens, Silverstone Circuit and Towcester Racecourse, a day out in Towcester has something of interest for everyone.
Every year we hold a number of community events including the popular May Day Fayre, Midsummer Music and Christmas Market.
Markets
A Farmers Market is held every 2nd Friday of the month in Richmond Road Car Park between 9.00am and 1.00pm.
An Antiques and Bric-a-Brac Market is held at the Town Hall every Friday.
Christmas Open Air Carol Concert
Our Annual Carol Concert is open to all and is held in December in the Market Square. The Towcester Studio Band accompanies our singing whilst we keep warm with mulled wine and mince pies! A small Christmas Market provides ideas for last minute gifts and many shops stay open late.
Midsummer Music
Held in June, the Midsummer Music Festival has grown to become a very popular event for residents and visitors alike. Venues in the Town open their doors and invite you to listen to a wide and varied reportoire; from harpists to rock bands, jazz, pop, celtic, string quartets and many more.
May Day Fayre
Held on the first Bank Holiday in May, this event has simply grown and grown. Featuring the Great Duck Race, the May Festivities also include stalls, demonstrations, Fun Dog Show, Maypole Dancing and live music.

There is plenty of FREE car parking available in Towcester. Waitrose and Co-Op car parks have a 2 hour time limit. However, Richmond Road and Northampton Road car parks are unlimited.
